Who was Isaac Lorenzo Givens?

I will answer this question, but first let me put a couple of items on display for you to think about:

 This is a photo of Isaac Lorenzo Givens.  He is a direct descendant of John Witherspoon Givens.  He lived in Pensacola, Florida.  More about him, later.  Now here is another item from my wonderful WikiTree.com website.

Now here is a descendant of Isaac's family...Aline Ettoil Givens was his first child.  She married Mr. Peiffer; their daughter was Monette.  I corresponded with Monette for several years; she passed away in 2012.
